The first day of spring has passed but Mother Nature has her own agenda. March 31st is the deadline for the PR contests. Reminder emails have been sent - I hope you all get your entries in on time. The winners will be announced on Saturday, May 17th at the Spring Convention. With the Awards luncheon and the visit by International President Chris Ford, this convention should not be missed.

Spring contests are going great. I have been to several at both the club and area level and there is some really good talent out there. The Evaluation Contest will culminate on Friday evening May 16th while the International Speech winner will be announced Saturday evening May 17th and that winner will go on to the Regional contest in Rapid City South Dakota the weekend of June 26-28, 2008. The final winner of the International Speech contest will be awarded at the International Convention in Calgary, Alberta, Canada the weekend of August 13-16, 2008

Still looking for people to add their testimonials to the PRO webpage. Right under Alan Barnard’s testimonial is a link that says Tell Your Story - please let others know what Toastmasters has done for you.

Happy spring!
