October is Toastmasters Month
I know everyone is focusing on contests right now. I have been to a few of them already and I can’t wait until Fall Conference to see the final group of contestants. I know it is going to be outstanding. If you haven’t signed up for Fall Conference yet, you better make sure you do. The weather typically at that time of year is beautiful, the setting at the resort in Grand Rapids is breathtaking, and it will be a nice getaway for you, your spouse, significant other or just a good time to be with friends. That is one thing Toastmasters offers everyone, great friends!
As we all know, Toastmasters month is fast approaching and we need to make the request to our local officials requesting they sign a proclamation to make October Toastmaster’s month in your community. A letter will be going out to all the Division and Area Governors with information regarding this.
What are your clubs doing to celebrate Toastmaster’s month? Are you holding open houses to introduce your club to more people at work, or others in your community? Perhaps you are planning a Speechcraft. There are many ways to celebrate, just be sure that your clubs are aware that the time is coming up quickly.
